My dear friend, who writes under the name Durrilion for Video Jouzu, messaged me a couple months ago and said something along the lines of, “Hey! I talked to my editor and she’s interested in having me interview you about your book… if you’re interested?”
That might have been my favorite moment in life up to that point. The publisher of a geek journal wanted my interview? Me? Really?
Even when I have books on the NYT Bestseller list, I’m not sure I’ll ever be used to that.
Durrilion and I met at a local place here called Taco Guild. It totally wasn’t an excuse to go eat their amazing food. No… not even.
We talked for three hours. The resulting transcript was 56 pages long. (I promise, they pared it down nicely.)
So, go check it out! Check out Interview With The Author, Part 1!
And remember, this weekend you can come see me at the Phoenix Festival of the Arts at Hance Park! I’ll be with the Phoenix Publishing and Book Promotion group on Friday from open to close, Saturday from 10 AM to Noon and Sunday from 4 PM to 6 PM. I’ll have copies of my book available for purchase, and I’ll sign every copy sold! Come out and see me!
