Don’t Wait

hankdogsI found this band in the early 2000’s. I wish they’d stayed together longer. Indie British Folk… you have to love it. Anyway, this song speaks volumes to me lately. I am gradually moving away from what life is so that I might walk my path of great mysteries. Or at least the path of great urban fantasy?

But waiting for the lucky break? That’s what I’ve been doing for 20 years.  I’m not quitting my day job… yet.  But I am taking chances. I’m rather done with waiting for luck.  I’m making my own…

And if you want to own this beautiful album, you can find it right here.

  1. I listened to a couple of their songs on youtube and am interested in hearing more.

Your post also reminded me of a song that I loved in high school, the rediscovered a year and a half ago. It has taken on a special meaning since then. In some areas of my life, I have made changes and left the well-marked path and I am happier for it (yes, the road has been rocky at times). There are some other areas in life where I am not quite ready to do that. I’m still laying plans and testing the waters. Anyhow, maybe you will get something out of this 🙂
